The year is off to an exciting start with new releases and collaborations from Lego. From iconic landmarks to imaginative collaborations, the world of Lego invites us to build, play, and discover together, one brick at a time. Let’s check out the latest in the world of plastic bricks.

1. The LEGO Kingfisher Bird Set (#10331):

The Kingfisher is such an iconic bird that’s often the subject of bird photography because of its ability to dive into water and emerge triumphantly, fish in beak. Lego has now decided to take on the animal kingdom by creating this small but dramatic take of an Azure Kingfisher emerging from the water with a small fish in its beak. With its outstretched wings, small reeds behind it to give it a sense of scale and place it among nature, and a splash of water at its base, the Lego Kingfisher makes for a terrific display piece for birdwatchers and fans of nature. The 834-piece Lego Kingfisher is part of the Lego Icons theme and will retail for US$49.99 with a release date of February 1, 2024.

2. Lego Marvel Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (#76275):

A perfect gift for those who love high-speed action and Marvel fans, this build-and-play set features Spider-Man and Venom Doc Ock minifigures, featuring four long, flexible tentacles displaying the distinctive markings of Venom, who has infiltrated the villain. The minifigures can grip onto other elements, including a streetlight, dynamite, and a trash can containing a bottle, fish, bone, and banana peel. The set has 77 pieces, and the Spider-Man motorcycle measures over 1 in. (3 cm) high, 3 in. (8 cm) long, and 1.5 in. (4 cm) wide.

3. The rumor of Lego Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree (#77092):

Lego has been working more with Nintendo brands with Super Mario and Donkey Kong; the one missing is the Legend of Zelda. Rumor is that the brickmaker will finally complete the iconic trio of Nintendo characters with a new release of the Legend of Zelda with the Great Deku Tree in 2024. Lego fans have long waited for a Legend of Zelda set, as there have been numerous projects on Lego Ideas for this game, but they still need to pass the review stages.

Ever since its release in 2023, Lego Fortnite fans have been expecting more updates to come their way. Portals are abuzz with anticipation as leaks of the game’s upcoming 2024 update circulate online. Various additions, including a catapult weapon, new mobs, and enhanced gameplay features, promise to elevate the Lego-themed Battle Royale experience. 5. The iconic Lego Red London Telephone Box (#21347):

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the K2 Telephone Box, one of the most iconic and recognizable symbols of London, Lego has unveiled the #21347 Red London Telephone Box, making it the 55th Lego Ideas set. The 1,460-piece Lego Red London Telephone Box has a release date of February 1, 2024, ahead of a February 3 general release date. Ornamental and decorative, the set contains subtle details, like the wrought-iron fence, and a light brick to illuminate the interiors by pressing down the roof. It’s also a fairly-sizable model, measuring 31cm (12 in.) tall and 19.5cm (7.5 in.) wide, which is a decent-sized display model.
